Lost Ships II
Sequel to my Lost Ships Video. This one has more unknown shipwrecks and more warships then my previous video. *Note: IJN Shinano, SS Hespernia and a few others are so unknown that I was only able to find one picture of each, others I are some what known but I couldn’t find any pictures of crew. *Note: I have labeled Shinano as a Yamato Class Battleship/Aircraft Carrier, because at the time of her conversion into a carrier she was well underway to being completed as battleship. Shinano could …
USS Arizona? it sunk in pearl harbor
Not only ‘one’ massive wave, it was a huge Storm, for us, Swedens worst storm for a long time, and the huge waves completely destroyed the Visators locks.
The movie is great, but not what it was about….
So horrible about the gonners…
Stupid!?!
What do you mean!?
some say that he might have committed suicide, but one thing for sure is that he died of a heart attack
She collided with the Camperdown (not Camberdown as you have in the vid). Interesting sidenote is that Lady Tryon was hosting a party in London that night and several of the guests claim to have seen and spoke to the Admiral who was actually onboard the sinking ship. John Jellicoe was also on the Victoria but survived, going on to lead the Navy in the great war.
Captain Wilmott may have been poisoned, he certainly didn’t commit suicide from the accounts I’ve read. On the slow SOS remember it was during the depression a false SOS would have cost Warms his job and jobs were scarce. There is a strong line of thought that the fire was deliberate too.
they are stupid !
sany of yo videos m/s estlie.
MS Estonia is snuken becase of a massive wave pushing off the car door
FERRY IS SPELLED F E R R Y
hahahah fairy
why do people keep saying uss titanic….. it was and always will be the RMS Titanic…
the uss titanic hit the ice on the year of my b-day
The Japanese did such a good job keeping her under raps, US naval intellegence didn’t know that Archer-Fish had sunk a 72,000 ton aircraft carrier, at first they thought Archer-Fish had sunk a cruiser and not a carrier.
good music
The fairy sank???
True, but had she been completed and commisioned she would have been an awesome carrier!
My sources state she was to be a sort of support carrier, not actually having a strike group of her own, instead repairing other carriers aircraft and re arming them.
Very interesting ship. Shame no more pictures/film survive.
P.S. Thanks also for not getting abusive like other idiots on this channel!!
Shinano had the misfortune of being both rushed through production to get her into service, but her biggest flaw was the fact her design was changed midway through her construction. Had Shinano been completed as a Battleship she would’ve fared better.
Sorry, I dont agree! The design of Shinano was good, and as for her torpedo bulge, it was identical to that of Yamato’s and look how many torpedoes it took to sink her!! Shinano was lost due to poor training of her damage control crew and the fact that many damage control items like pumps and watertight doors were not completed. She was being moved to Kure harbour to do this when sunk!
It’s spelled ferry not fairy.
Shinano was plagued by design flaws, specifically weak joints between her armor and her hull as well as poorly designed anti-torpedo bulge, also survivors claimed that Shinano was never tested for water tightness, and say some of her rivits popped out after she was torpedoed.
From what I’m awhare of Musashi hasn’t been found, part of it is the depth of the water, Musashi is believed to lie at a depth of up to 4,000 feet while Yamato lies at a depth of 2,000 feet
What you mean Lost due to a Design Fault After being Torpedoed. And i heard tat they havent found IJN Musashi Wreck at the sibuyan sea? is this true.. well they found yamato Somehow they cant find musashi
ok. thanks. this shipwreck stuff is so gripping
A Magazine is the area of a warship where explosives and gunpowder are stored.
